Multi Pair & Multi Triad PVC Insulated and Jacketed Foil Shielded 300V Instrument Cables

Physical Description

Power-Limited Tray Cables conforming to UL Subject 13 and NEC Article 725 Class 2 Circuits.
The cables can be used for instrument interconnections in process plant for LF control applications.
Each cable contains several twisted pairs or twisted triads plus a single communications wire.
The cables are overall foil-shielded and jacketed with FR-PVC compound.

Insulation thickness 0.4 mm nom. 0.4 mm nom.
Insulation OD Indicated below. 1.55 mm nom.

Conductor arrangement

All pairs/triads are cabled concentrically with the communication wire.

Core warp

Polyester tape, providing 100% coverage.

Drain wire

Stranded annealed tinned copper.

Overall shield

Polyester-aluminum tape, foil face in, providing 100% coverage.

Rip-cord PA stranded rip-cord (14 Kgf) laid under the jacket for easy jacket removal.

Outer Jacket

Heavy-duty Flame-retardant PVC compound, UV resistant, conforming to BS 6746 Type 9.

Color Black, RAL 9005.
Surface printing WW P/N, Cable description, Batch Number, Sequential meter-mark.
